A code is a sequence abbreviation and three digits, and shots count in tens: NSB010, NSB020, NSB030. The gaps are what let you add a shot later without renaming anything, so a shot spotted between NSB010 and NSB020 becomes NSB015 and says so in its own name. New renders of a shot remain versions inside it.
